Meet Rebekah
Rebekah is a licensed funeral director with a focus on restorative art and professional embalming care. With 5 years of experience in mortuary science, she brings both technical precision and artistic skill to her work. A graduate of Wayne State University’s Mortuary Science program, Rebekah also draws from her decade of experience in the cosmetology industry, where she developed a refined understanding of form, color, and presentation. Having worked alongside specialists across Southeast Michigan, she approaches every case with integrity, competence, and respect.
The Approach
Grounded in Proven Principles
Following the established foundations of embalming teachings—sanitation, preservation, and restoration—using precise chemical balance to slow postmortem changes, limit microbial activity, and ensure lasting results.
Cosmetic Application with Intention
Applying cosmetics and restorative makeup to create a natural and familiar appearance, guided by techniques rooted in cosmetology. Each case is handled with the families’ preferences in mind, as well as factors such as age, gender, ethnicity, and cultural traditions.
Thoughtful Technique
Using a lower rate of flow and carefully selected accessory fluids to promote even distribution, maintain a natural appearance, and protect tissue integrity.
